The Dean of Students Office is pleased to announce the 2020 Campus Elections process.

The UC Santa Cruz Police Department has been notified of an email scam being perpetrated on students from someone saying they work at Cisco Systems, Inc. and need to hire a student as a part-time personal assistant.

This time of year drivers and cyclists need to be extra vigilant about deer darting into roadways. It is deer rutting season, when the bucks are in hot pursuit of mates.

We are writing to reaffirm that everyone in the UC Santa Cruz community is entitled to work in an atmosphere free from bullying and abusive conduct.

As you know, we have been informed by PG&E that main campus may see its power cut tonight, part of a statewide plan by the utility to reduce the risk of wildfire in areas where high winds are forecast.

On March 1, 2019, the campus’ long-planned solar panel installation began in the East Remote parking lot. While this project has made significant progress and completion is in sight, the final phases are scheduled to continue into winter.

UC Santa Cruz may lose power today at noon or later as part of the planned power outage by PG&E. However, the situation is still fluid.

UC Santa Cruz has canceled Wednesday’s classes because of PG&E’s power outage, which is expected to begin at the main campus by 5 p.m. Wednesday.
