A message from Chancellor George Blumenthal

Fire personnel from the California Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) and CAL FIRE are planning to conduct a prescribed burn at Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park on Thursday June 14.

The campus invites your comments on the draft Therapy Animal Policy, procedures, and related documents.

Similar to prior years, a training exercise sponsored by the UC Santa Cruz Police Department will be held from June 18 to 22 at the Theater Arts Center and Baskin Visual Arts complex.

Most campus dining locations will be closed during intersession.

On Thursday, the Graduate Division will host their commencement in the Quarry Amphitheater beginning at 4pm. On Friday, there are 18 departmental or organizational celebrations scheduled throughout the day, resulting in hundreds of visitors needing on-campus parking.

The Student Health Center, Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), CARE and Student Health Outreach Promotion (SHOP) will be closed between 11:30am—1:30pm on Friday, June 15th.

In 2018-19, the Division of Undergraduate Education is undertaking a search for a part-time faculty administrator.

Annual parking permits and faculty/staff Metro bus passes expire on June 30, 2018, and the North Remote lot is changing on September 1, 2018.

Reminder: UC Santa Cruz will be hosting a listening session at 2 p.m. today at the Stevenson Event Center on the main campus.
