Exhibition by internationally known environmental artists at Sesnon Gallery
In the mid 1990s, environmental artists Newton and Helen Harrison were asked by the Dalai Lama to create a work of art titled “Tibet is the Higher Ground.” That piece is just one sample of their work that will be on display at UCSC’s Sesnon Gallery, beginning February 6.

Free screening of ‘Doctors of the Dark Side’ set for Jan. 30 at UCSC
A free screening of “Doctors of the Dark Side,” the award-winning documentary that examines the critical role of psychologists and physicians in the torture of detainees in U.S. controlled military prisons, is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday, January 30 at the Merrill Cultural Center, on the UC Santa Cruz campus.
