This will be a momentous weekend for the UC Santa Cruz men’s water polo team. The Banana Slugs are set to make history as they head to Atlanta as the first-ever team from a Division III school to compete in the National Collegiate Club Championship, a Division I tournament.

Solar-powered scoreboard coming to Lower East Field
Wells Fargo Bank is paying for the first permanent outdoor playing field scoreboard in campus history. The $15,000 scoreboard will be solar-powered and a much better fit for the 300 spectators that come to the men’s and women’s intercollegiate soccer matches.

Alumnae best current women’s soccer team in friendly game
