The UCSC Career Success Experiential Learning & Student Employment Team is excited to share an invitation for you to help recruit for your upcoming work-study and student employment opportunities at our annual Student Employment & Work-Study Fair. We also share details below about work-study recruitment for the 2026-27 academic year.
2026 Student Employment & Work-Study Fair
Wednesday, September 23rd | 1:00–3:30 p.m. | East Field
The 2026 Student Employment & Work-Study Fair is an excellent opportunity for you to meet with hundreds of students seeking on-campus employment opportunities. Meet with students to help fill your open roles. There is no registration fee, but space is limited so register soon to ensure a spot! Departments recruiting many employees can request multiple tables to ensure shorter lines for our event attendees.
Register in Handshake by September 9, 2026
2026-27 Work-Study Recruitment
You may post your work-study roles for 2026-27 on or after September 1, 2026 in Handshake. All students’ 2026-27 work-study awards will be available in Handshake and HIRES on September 1. These work-study awards may be applied for work between September 19, 2026 through June 10, 2027.
We will reach out with a reminder next week about the changes to the HIRES platform and announce the information sessions to support you in recruiting students. Thank you for your ongoing support of our student employees.
